UNWG 2019 Calendar Towel Design Contest
The deadline for submitting entries for 2019 is Wednesday, 28 February 2018.
The Calendar Towel design contest was started in 1963 and the Guild has in its possession samples of calendar towel designs for the past 55 years.
Please see images in our photo gallery. Each year we ask artists to compete in designing similar images for the Calendar Towel of the coming year. These towels are on sale at the Guild's Gift Store in the United Nations Visitor's Centre. Towels may be ordered by mail or on our website.
Please see the entry form provided on this site if you wish to enter the contest for 2019. All funds raised by the Guild are for the support of projects for children in vulnerable situations all over the world, therefore there is no compensation or prize to the winner. A launch event for the winning calendar design takes place at the UN Headquarters each autumn. At this event the winning designer is our special guest. The designer's bio and the event will be posted on our website. Guidelines for the Calendar Towel contest can be found here. Please submit your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Click the button below to download the entry form.

UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) spokesperson Marixie Mercado told journalists in Geneva that many of the children “were working to provide income back to families, and were desperate to get back to school.”
