CASA DA MUSICA/PROJECT OF MUSIC AND CITIZENSHIP

Children and teenagers learn to play an orchestra instrument, taking them away from the streets and giving them possibilities of ways to earn a living, making social transformation and bringing music into the children's lives. Serves 190 children.

AJUDA SOCIAL A CRIANCA DESAMPARADA

Supported since 1985. This orphanage/school provides complete care for 60 abandoned children and orphans aged 2 to18 years living full time in the institution.

LAR DAS MENINAS

Supported since 2004. This is a day care center for 85 needy children and an orphanage for 35 children and teenagers from ages 2 to 17. Provides daily shelter and care from 7am to 6pm - giving them breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner.

SOC. ESPIRITA MARIA NUNES-CRECHE VIRGILIO DA ALMEDIA

Supported since 2004. This is a day care center for 110 children ranging in age from birth to five years. The children are supplied with four daily meals, school activities and psychological orientation. In addition they are also given hygiene and medical care. Our donation was utilized to complete the floor of the classroom.

CENTRO INFANTIL MAE CHICA

Supported since 2005. This day care center supports needy children aged 4 months to 6 years, while their parents are at work. The children are given education, hygiene and food.

ASOC. DE PAIS E AMIGOS DOS EXCEPCIONAIS APAE-NITEROI

Supported since 2006. This project has a school, rehabilitation and training center for 260 disabled children ranging in age from birth to 18. They organize activities related to special needs, education and rehabilitation of the children.
