In the past, whenever the project was approved for a donation, the funds were sent to the project through the UNDP office, which in turn arranged for the sending of the checks.  In 2003, checks for $500 each were given to the Center for Special Education in Old Havana and Center “Pablo Aguero Guedel” in Marianao.
